Toy Theater provides students and educators with access to virtual manipulates. Virtual manipulatives a relatively new technology modeled after existing manipulatives such as base ten blocks, coins, blocks, tangrams, rulers, fraction bars, algebra tiles, geoboards, geometric plane, and solids figures. They are advantagous to use because they are free and can be used in the classroom as well as at home. Users also have the flexibility to use the virtual manipulatives as they choose without running out of materials.
